But I haven't looked really hard.
And I wouldn't trust the delivery guys to one to me intact.
But there are compensations
In the right shop 200 USD almost gets you into Intel i3 territory, 230 will and
you don't have to worry about Windows making it hard to install your OS of
choice. The hard drive will be blank - not even partitioned if my experience
is typical.
PS the fact that Chromebooks are even being sold must give MS palpitations or
worse. (I actually typed Chrimebooks which might be what MS is thinking)

Well, I have to say, it's so superior to
everything else I've ever seen, except
an Apple product (hardware), it's worth
saving for, in my view. Then put Linux
on it, and it'd be sweet.

I have used one, and it was a satisfying
experience.

That's not the same word as fun. But it's
deeper. It's also fun.

But it's different. It runs with downloaded
apps for everything that isn't the basics it
comes with, and lots of what it comes with
is apps anyhow. So that's an adjustment. If
you like iPads, it's similar, but better because
you have the keyboard, the touchpad, and a
touch screen that really works. You can have it
scroll the usual way or Australian. You can
have tap to click. It's just fun.

But you have to learn new ways to do certain
things. Just figuring out how to search a page
for a word took me forever. It
is mostly my own fault, in that I hate to read
documentation, so I just jump on in, usually.
So in my experience, I just tried various key
combos until I found it. I still don't know
how you get a drop down menu for copy and paste.
So I just do Ctrl+C, etc. So it's fun if you
trying things out. And I find myself using the
same things on my old Apple stuff, which of course
doesn't work. But it shows my brain likes it.
