Excellent example of a site to avoid: Craigslist - just don't go there!

The terms of use apparently - from just the post provided in your link - forbid anyone from puting "their own" information elsewhere. Assuming everything in the link is factual of course.

It's TOU like that which make me avoid sites. My information is mine to decide what to do with and unless someone is willing to pay me substantial sums to give up my rights on my information: I will not ever agree to such terms.

No, I do not have an account with nor have I ever accessed craigslist.

And no, I can't review the terms myself. As shows up in the Google Snip when I query on "craigslist terms of use":

By accessing or using craigslist, you are a "user" and you accept and agree to the terms below (the "Terms of Use" or "TOU") as a legal contract
So by accessing the terms of use, I automatically agree to them because - logically, I am accessing craigslist to review said terms.
    Nope, Not Gonna Happen!
I don't blindly agree to terms ever. If I'm going to consider, then the terms must be openly available for me to review without strings attached obligating me on accepting said terms.

If someone isn't willing to provide me the terms for review with a choice being that I refuse said terms, then the logical conclusion is:

They know there are terms I'd never sanely agree to!
By "substantial sums" I'm talking starting in the tens of millions of dollars.
