Had to look that one up.

I was attacking their statement both ways:
"You're using a logical fallacy"
and
"If you insist on using that logical fallacy, here's some stuff you don't
want to admit that's also true"

Not the best technique for convincing a person, but can sometimes work on
third-party listeners.
