Jury nullification?

Or was the law actually sensible here?

Sometimes it seems the only crime in America ...
Authored by: jbb on Friday, July 19 2013 @ 03:51 PM EDT
... is to stand up to the almighty power of the corporate oligarchy. Well, that's not true, there is also "walking while black" and related charges. And lets not forget that being on the president's hit-list for assassination is a capital offense with no possibility for appeal or judicial review.

I realize there are many other criminal offenses in the United States. There would have to be because we have more prisoners than any other nation on earth; 25% of the all prisoners world-wide are held captive in American prisons and jails. Despite this, every day tens of thousands of Americans sing out loud that we are "the land of the free".
