GNU doesn't mean free as in beer. Not if you are not a brewer.
Please read the license.

anti-competitive.
GPL is anti-competitive, because it is extremely difficult to differentiate
between software that uses the same source code as the starting point. Any
feature one vendor adds, will be added by other vendors, to their version, if it
is useful for the end-users.

I've used software that has a GPL license, that third parties have not been able
to reproduce. The major reasons that state of affairs is a lack of documentation
for the program, and obfuscated source code.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

View the following in the spirit of Monty Python:
Microsoft: you're
telling us your trade secrets - that is SOOOOO anti-competitive - it harms us
greatly!!!

THEIR LOGIC, would put all volunteer fire, rescue, peace corp, efforts as being
NOT LEGAL.
Volunteers are what formed the backbone of all societies.
Grass roots.
Their math is flawed, yet is the only arguement that they have, that is very
weak, at best, a dream to kill volunteerism is vastly self-interested, and not
for the betterment of humanity at all.
