Port Android to it. Instant ecosystem.
M$ made a mistake. Apple's iOS and iPAD, being first, and
with a fanboi club, could survive and thrive despite prices
that bring images of being a member of the elite.
Surface didn't have a chance against the iPad.
Android only survives due to a low price-tag; M$ would have
had to undercut Android in order to get "market
penetration"... not that many people LIKE the way M$
penetrates.
Sadly, M$ will not choose to "join" Android since it uses
the M$-reviled Linux kernel... and they've put so much
effort to make it as impossible as they could to keep their
device from being rooted.
(chuckles)
They can off-load their Surfaces-- and, probably, make a
profit on the hardware-- simply by providing the keys to the
UEFI allowing the devices to be rooted.
Well I ain't gonna hold my breath AT ALL waiting for the
first lick of sense to hit M$.
(sighs)
Remember, "fault tolerant" describes a satisfied M$ Windows
user.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
