Why did ATT bother to use snail mail to inform their
customers instead of email? If for any reason the
email address is wrong or invalid, that customer isn't
even affected. Email would inform affected customers
much more quickly and with virtually no cost.

So, basically, ATT would like for others to pay for
the stupid mistakes that ATT has made.

I suppose I am surprised that ATT did not shoot themselves
in the foot, and then claim that others caused ATT to
shoot themselves in the foot and so others should pay.

Oh ... wait. ATT did.
