You are confused. With an ipad or android or blackberry or windows phone you
must login to gmail every time. Just because your device is storing that
information does not mean you do not have to login. You also do not have to do a
factory restore to delete the saved login info. The login info can be changed by
the user at anytime. Just because you do not know how does not mean it is hidden[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

On my old, decrepit Froyo-based device, Settings -> Accounts and sync ->
Google account (me@gmail.com) -> Remove account does it. Other versions and
devices may vary (sigh).
There's a system library specific to Google Experience devices which handles
Google-specific stuff like cloud-to-device messaging and authentication. When
you think you're logging into a gapp on such a device, you're really logging
into the framework.
