The page seems to be restored now. I suppose it means that the investigation
said that news were correct.
Bad Bad NSA.

A recent news pick here is an hour long discussion by the Guardian editors of their NSA surveillance coverage. It is quite informative.

They've gone to extraordinary lengths to vet everything they say about the NSA surveillance because any inaccuracy, no matter how minor, will be used to discredit all of their coverage. These attempts to discredit the Guardian go along with the smear campaigns against Snowden and Greenwald. One example I noticed was bogus claims flying around the internet that the Guardian retracted one of their NSA stories and this (fictional) retraction was used to discredit all of their coverage.

A moment's reflection on these childish attacks will tell you more about the NSA and the US government than everything that was leaked by Snowden. I can think of no greater confirmation of everything Snowden has said. The US government is desperately trying to avoid any public debate on these fundamental Constitutional issues. Obama's words to the contrary are the final confirmation. Obama's words regarding the FISA court have historically been in direct opposition to his actions. Here's a clue: blocking all US army access to the Guardian web site does not help foster debate. Such censorship is a desperate attempt to silence debate.
