look at apple's marketshare. It's not exactly increasing, and
it hit a plateau long ago. Some people cannot believe in a
slowdown until it happens.

Revenue

Market cap is one thing, revenue is another.

I believe that Samsung's world wide revenue is almost 5 times greater than
Apple's.

Apple has moved to an Ellisonian* legal approach.

IIRC, Jobs and Cook were never part of the good old boy network in Washington.
Gates is.

MS and Apple may have similar goals, but Apple has more to lose. MS is clever
enough to fight their wars by proxy.

Thought Corporate state overblow in the USA until I saw they won't reveal fracking chemicals.
Authored by: SilverWave on Friday, June 28 2013 @ 02:31 AM EDT
Come ON this is a public health issue.

So your corporate overlords have decided that their business
secrets are worth more than a citizen's health?

And what's worse is that your political and judicial system
allows this!

I have no problem with fracking done safely but there is no
way this will be allowed in the UK, yes you can frack but
you will have to state the chemicals used .... D'oh!

Correcting for "bigger pockets"

This suggests hat we need a mechanism like the EU has, to make it harder to use
one's cash reserves to ignore the actions of a court.

Perhaps fines could be levied in terms of percentage of a company's income from
the previous tax year...
