Sorry if I offended you, but

I thought the gloves had come off. Who accused someone of acting like SCO?
I said someone pulled an SCO, then proved by their own words that they turned around on an issue. Exactly what SCO did. But lazy? That isnt right , proved, pr provable on a forum.
Denial of one vote to an indigent, elderly or minority person is as bad if not worse than one fraudulent vote
. That is incorrect, both are possibly equally as bad. But if done with groups of people on buss's and voter rolls its possible that fraud could be worse.
And by the Republicans' own words, these voter ID laws are designed to deny votes to such people because they aren't likely to vote Republican.
Then it should be easy to get the laws changed. Please post a link and a quote to those words.
Republicans know they are fast becoming a minority. Voter ID laws are part of their strategy to maintain their access to power.
That is purely the opinion of groups that are against them. If you trust the words of any political party or group you have drank the kool aid. Showing an id is in itself not a bad idea. If you are saying that these groups then will limit the id's thats a problem. But it is a solvable one.
You cite problems in Cook County. Those are for the State of Illinois to deal with without creating roadblocks to voting for its citizens.
If you think the fraud and cheating that have happen in IL are not going on in other states then you have a lot to lear and you are trusting one group way to much. Both sides cheat, nether side wants to loose power.
Where I live we have other problems, so I don't need you to tell me how to participate in the body politic, thank you.
The problem with that is what you may block in one state will most likely be used as a prescient to stop id's in other states. You also seem to think that fraud is just your little local problem, it isnt.
And I stand by the statement that it is possible to demonstrate that voter fraud has occurred without voter ID.
Maybe it is possible, but it may not catch or stop all of the fraud. Multiple tools are therefore a good idea like those methods and id's. It isnt one or the other, its every tool must be used to stop even one fraudulent vote.
