Barnes & Noble Sinks Most in 17 Months as Loss Doubles
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, June 26 2013 @ 01:42 AM EDT
Makes me think of pulling a fish trap and finding large pike and an almost as
large snapping turtle. Normally the nets were full of perch and suckers with
maybe a small pike or walleye. It looked like these two ate or scared off all
the smaller fish and were left alone in the trap.

Recall how Microsoft attempted their Embrace,
Extend, Extinguish years ago on Java?

The death of Oracle will come later.

Oracle and MS?
Authored by: pgmer6809 on Thursday, June 27 2013 @ 12:04 AM EDT
I saw an article on slashdot I believe that gave a graph of the Oracle market
share vs others in the server market before and after their lawsuit against
Google.
Can you say "Going off a cliff?"

They may not need to partner with MS to achieve self imolation. when you
substitute lawsuits for product and service as a business model, your outlook is
not rosy.
People aren't stupid.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
