I think you are confusing the two experts. Riech amplified the sound and
listened to it, then claimed he heard the words.
His analysis was based on the fact that you coulkd amplify it and hear something
meaningfulll because the sample was 16 bit.
Owen OTH took an exmplar of Zimmerman used it to "train" some AVR
software ( using GMM/cepstral techinques ) appened all the screams into one
sample. He then fed it into the software to do a comparision. The software
complained that the sample was too small, so he looped it once to produce a
