English (my supposedly native language), aka "verbal skills", was
never my forte. But I do know the difference between to, too, and two as well
as between there, their, and they're. Yet despite my historically deplorable
mistakes in gramar, it seems to me that as I age I am increasingly making
mistakes I *never* used to make! (Perhaps it is just a problem in perception
rather than my grammar actually getting worse?) And with this new-fangled
Internet thingie my errors are now displayed for all the world to see. There
have been many times when I have previewed a post multiple times, correcting
mistakes along the way, when, upon pressing the button of no return, I
*immediately* see the *glaring* error I had not seen with all of those previews.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Just typing that last example turns my stomach a little. Lately, I'm seeing that
particular cringe-worthy error more and more often.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
