We certainly need some collective action

There are so many things, but I often think: A protest
against Microsoft's patent trolling against Android and
their smearing of Google. Separately, a campaign against
Apple's Patent Armageddon - with stupid foolish patents that
never should have been granted - in both cases.

Among the objects of the campaign:
(Not necessarily in order)
1.) Educate the public on how these two companies work to
restrict their choices.
2.) Educate the public to understand that the concept of
patents awarding "invention" is a myth in 98% of cases, so
that juries will stop giving out humongous awards for
trivial patents.
3.) Educate the public in how devious Microsoft is in
attacking
Google every which way, and about the fact that this is
purely anti competitive behaviour that has nothing to do
with Microsoft's mission - developing software and products.
