This is what happens when people give up liberty for the
illusion of safety. They give it up for a minority
(travellers) and tell them to suck it up for the greater
good.

Then they act shocked when the same government takes their
civil liberties in the name of safety.

Who wouldn't want millions harmed instead of you and only you?

I can only guess that the above comment is in response to

I posted, as a regular traveller, that it was mostly security theatre, and an invasion of my privacy to x- ray me (and given the history of cancer in my family, it was adding extra risk to me).

If so, your comment is either grossly uninformed or quite dishonest. Tom Marchant
