I remember awhile back that PJ was advocating that anything
TSA did to stop terrorists was worth it if it made people
safer flying. So x-raying, etc, was ok.

At the time, I posted, as a regular traveller, that it was
mostly security theatre, and an invasion of my privacy to x-
ray me (and given the history of cancer in my family, it was
adding extra risk to me). I was rather poo-poo'd and told
that safety from terrorists were more important.

I hope nobody takes it personally that I feel rather
vindicated that now that it's personally affecting all those
non-flyers that people are upset over the invasion of THEIR
privacy by the government on grounds of 'but terrorists!'.
