Patent limiting = BAD
Patent expansion = GOOD

Is the Gene Test patentable?

I leave it as an exercise for the reader to determine the treatment.

After the market collapse...
Authored by: artp on Friday, June 14 2013 @ 12:06 PM EDT
There's an old saying that bad money drives out good money.

After the market collapses, the field will be open for those
who are in it, not to squeeze every last penny from the
marks, but to provide a useful service at a fair rate.

Right now, the squeezers have made the entry fee too high
for those folks to play.

Then again, in order to return to a sane economy, this is
going to have to happen across the board. Nobody is going to
loan money to a startup projecting profit levels of 2-3%
when they can invest in some scam or Ponzi scheme that
promises 50% returns.

We have neglected large-scale economic fraud for far too
long in this country. It is a constant battle, as the rich
do not want to give up either their riches or their
continued income, neither of which they need. I will stop
now before I get too upset and go to a new level of rant.
