No, I think it might be my browser

The Mobile theme opens with a clean single column of text filled out
to whatever I set on my Desktop browser. My mobile device OTOH opens
with a page width set by the index link header section, leaving the
column of text at one third the page width. Expanding it to fill the
screen gives a nice size, easy to read font, holding the device in
portrait mode. The "align-right" section footers are against the
right hand edge of the screen, well away from the column text.

If I open the page in landscape mode the column width
is better, one half the page width. Go figure.
This typed on desktop so pro'lly doesn't fit mobile width.
My mobile uses Boat Browser v.5.6 on Android 4.0.3,
Huawei G300 with wvga 800x480 display.

Why Boat?
I'm trying various browsers, and it has the best
combination I've found so far of
Page caching for fast reload on back button,
Sane bookmark management
Ability to go fullscreen, hiding toolbars
Sane handling of popup/pulldown menus
