I was paraphrasing the claims.They are that broadly written.
They are literally nothing more sophsticated than doing what was state of the
art in 1900, on a computer.
"This invention encompasses all possible methods of calculating the
results,
within this field of endevour, using a computer" is either a direct quote,
or a
paraphrase, by a lawyer, of the penultimate claim of the 2002 patent.
The field of use restriction, is the entire field of endevour. You can do
whatever you want in other fields of endevour, and this patent does not apply.
Do anything 'using a computer' in the field, and the patent applies, according
to the claims construction part of the patent.
