The Obama Administration’s Actions Against Patent Trolls
Authored by: stegu on Tuesday, June 04 2013 @ 02:11 PM EDT
Now, that is not what I call positive thinking. You might not want to celebrate
yet, but I think at least some support is in order, perhaps even some cautious
optimism. Myself, I refuse to go through life thinking that every good idea will
turn into watered-down rubbish before it is implemented. Yes, that happens
sometimes, but not always. This proposal has potential, and there are some good
ideas in there. Let's wait at least a little while and see how it turns out
before we start calling it a failure, shall we?

In the context of political limitations, it is never bad to enunciate good
principles, even when they don't come to immediate fruition. "All men
created equal" is an idea that is still moving us forward.

This administration has come up with many positive ideas, when it comes to implementation their record is not stellar.

This bunch of sour grapes seems to me to be on the wrong side of the ledger. Patent law, and fixing it, should be a legislative function. The question is, why have the house and senate done nothing about this problem for 20 years.

EVERYTHING that he has failed to bring to pass are direct results of TeaPhant
(Republican for those who fail to comprehend my derogatory nickname for them)
obstructionism.

Although I work from a different premise, I have to agree with your conclusion.
Getting changes in law through Congress and The Senate can be a bit of minefield
at the best of times.
