Well, well, well. Isn't it nice to be exceptional. Most are especially those who
isn't using it as a mantra.
Never assume, you only make an ass out of u and me.

There are four books on military strategy that every officer worth
their salt has committed to memory. Two of them were originally
written in Chinese. The third one was originally written in
Japanese. The fourth one was written in English.

The United States Armed Forces pays lip service to the first Chinese
book. It ignores the second Chinese book, and the Japanese
book. It point blank refuses to adhere to the principles laid out in
the fourth book, even they doing so costs lives, grounds, battles,
and wars.

The biggest obstacle China has, in fighting the United States, is
that the Pacific Ocean is between the two countries. The PLA can
march to Europe, but not to North America.

I will admit I have no real handle on the relative competence of China WRT the
US at the aggressive aspect of cyberwar. The US is considerably more
vulnerable, however. China has much less infrastructure as a proportion on the
internet at all, much less on the open web.

So the US would obviously lose because it has so many soft targets. I really
doubt that anyone would win.
