So the Lycos Patents are Worthless?
Authored by: complex_number on Sunday, June 02 2013 @ 01:41 AM EDT
What happens if the re-examination finds that Google didn't violate any patents
at all and Google sues Viringo for vexatious litigation?
Does MS end up paying Google or will Viringo decide to do a SCO and file for
Chap 11 just before they get the verdict?

With all these patents being invalidated right, left and centre isn't it about
time that one of the 'targets' has the guts to sue back for at least their costs
but for the damages to their reputation (aka goodwill)?

Just one case like that might make a few of these Trolls especitally like
Intellectual Ventures sit up an take note?
Many Troll companies will just fold overnight but some actually have a capital
base and for them the risks might be significant.

IANAL etc.

Ubuntu & 'apt-get' are not the answer to Life, The Universe & Everything which
is of course, "42" or is it 1.618?
