You can only describe it,

To actualise it, you must have copyrighted BSD source code (if you want actual
genuine BSD sockets, read what I said more carefully), or the source code of a
compatible BSD socket library, or even, with no source code, have available a
pre compiled binary chunk compiled from the source code of one of the above. All
of which is protected by copyright.

And you must have your own code that makes a call of the type documented in the
copyrighted documentation.

And then you must run them together 'just so', or one or the other will crash
(for example if you update your socket library but don't recompile your
program)
