MS pernicious development platform ...
Authored by: nsomos on Friday, May 31 2013 @ 05:16 PM EDT
Sorry, I misread "precious development platform" as 'pernicious'.
My eyes must be tired.

Then someone else in a post further down mentioned MS and ethics
in the same sentence ... hmmm. (It was "Tablet With A Work Ethic")

If ethics were like gravity ... MS would repel everyone and everything.
Not too far off the mark I'd say.

Some of the video ads for surface are not bad. If I were interested
in dancing with a tablet instead of getting work done, and didn't
care how much it cost, or how little it could really do, I might
almost be convinced. But I'll never be able to dance like that
handsome young oriental fellow, and that is not my intended use
for a computer anyway.

The end for MS is coming. It may yet take quite a while and there may
yet be much collateral damage, but the end is coming.

I look forward to the day when youngsters and businesses wonder what
older people ever saw in any MS products and why anyone would buy MS
for anything. That day cannot come too soon. But it is coming.
