I've always been a big supporter of Ballmer. I wish him many years of success
at MS.

My main concern is that a Ballmer replacement might actually bring common sense
and real innovation to MS.

Forcing MS to concentrate on dividends and ditch un(der)performing businesses
might accelerate the bust quite nicely :-)

Ditch Bing ... that'll knock MS's mindshare.

Ditch XBox and MS hardware in general - that's Surface gone, the concept of the
MS PC ...

Not sure what else'll go, but hopefully new management will also scrap a lot of
these "discount Windows" schemes :-) in the name of greater profits
...

New managers who don't understand the MS way are likely to be the termites
within, or new management who are old MS hands are likely to continue the same
course.

Either way, the internal turmoil is likely to be to competitors' benefit :-)

Cheers,
Wol
