Coming soon to your PC coutesy of the MPAA

and their friends.

Holding your computer to ransome is (AFAIK) exactly what they want to do when
the 'suspect' that you have illegally download some of the frankly terribly
output of Hollywood. Quite why anyone would want to even pirate what is
currently being released is beyond me but hey, the old sayings, 'There nowt as
queer as folk' and 'there is one born any minute' come to mind.

Anyone who does heaven forbid illegally pirate a film/tv show would do it via a
VM and then destroy all traces of said VM afterwards. How will the MPAA find out
who did what then except by DPI and IP tracing and we all know how accurate that
is.

Ubuntu & 'apt-get' are not the answer to Life, The Universe & Everything which
is of course, "42" or is it 1.618?

The EULA problem comes out once again. Where does "contract" leave
off and "extortion" begin?
