Congratulations, you discovered that people placed in detention centers are
actually detained there.

For your next assignment, read Title III of the Illegal Immigration Reform and
Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996. Then come back and say you're sorry for
calling me names.

And be careful how you read about penalties for re-entry. I'm sure it will make
you salivate when you see that aliens who try to come back into the country can
be fined or put in jail. But if you bring it up as a rebuttal I will embarrass
you by pointing out what it really means.

I will also skool you on the fine art of verbal smackdown, take your lunch money
and make you like it.

Really, get a clue

Two things:

1. This is Groklaw. Rudeness is a violation of
our comments policy.

2. Wikipedia is not the end of any dispute. People
write it and sometimes there are agendas. For all
we know, you wrote that to win a debate.

You just saw a federal judge tell you that it's not
a crime to be in the US without authorization. And
you post a chunk from *Wikipedia*?

If you think it's illegal, show us the law.
