SIIA Tells the FTC What Patent Trolls Are Doing to the Software Industry ~pj

Perhaps one solution to this would be to require patent holders to clearly identify what patents are infringed

Lawyers get paid good money to avoid saying anything clearly. In more practical terms, the trolls will simply respond by claiming that they need extensive discovery to provide such information.

Specifics, that is:

What patents and claims are involved and who owns them!

Otherwise, the word is "Civil Extortion" (see Prenda)

And failure to record ownership transfers of patents is a crime (by the patent
office) in and of itself.

Wondering if he can prove that he is indeed the inventor on two patents through
the USPTO, since he has moved since the first one, and since he knows of another
by his same name in his current area of residence...because I accidentally got
his drugs one day at a pharmacy.
