Microsoft is asking to be Skype-phished
Authored by: Anonymous on Saturday, May 18 2013 @ 04:16 PM EDT
This is really asking for trouble. I'm waiting to hear the first reports of MS
production networks getting infected because they were trolling all the URLs
sent through Skype.

Think about it: a bunch of sweet new 0-day Windows exploits
get used for a benign purpose - punishing MS for sleazily stalking Skype users -
rather than for mere economic evil or vandalism. Isn't this a win-win? Come on
hackers, step up and show us you've got some imagination!

Attention Carmen Ortiz...

She charged Aaron Swartz with 13 felony counts. He faced 30
years imprisonment for simply accessing sites he had the
right to access. What would an appropriate sentence for
those responsible unauthorized access at Microsoft?
