If they do it with Javascript, then just turn Javascript off after the page has
loaded, before you copy their page. They have to send you the text, or your
browser can't display it.

They could like you said send an image, but then the text won't flow to fit the
actual page size (which is why "designers" who insist on pixel perfect
web pages have no idea of what they are doing), and the bandwidth requirements
would be excessive.

Ultimately, if your text content is that valuable, don't put it on the
Internet!
