FireFox 20.0.1 suffered but an update to 21.0 helped
Authored by: nsomos on Friday, May 17 2013 @ 05:49 PM EDT
I was using 20.0.1 and click selecting with mouse was
disabled. I updated to 21.0 and it was back to normal.

But it is silly for folks to try to do such.
It only frustrates some people. Others will just go
to tools and view source and be able to get the text directly.
And you can't very well prevent wget or it cousins.

The only way to truly stop cutting and pasting is to
use images to render the text. But even then, truly
determined people could just use OCR.

But it is perhaps the same sort of loony thinking
that lead to DRM.

I'll try a different one, different OS and
see. It's possible.
