I have already been doing this for years, right from my bank account. I don't
know about elsewhere, but this has been standard with Canadian banks for at
least 7 or 8 years. On the other hand, it's been years since I've written a
paper cheque.

There is a very serious problem with this article: it conflates patents and industry.

In fact the two are quite distinct and what may make the application of patents to an industry difficult need not (and in the case of software, very much does not) cause the operation of the industry, aside from the work of the industry's patent lawyers, problems.

Days of Prenda's Lives -- Hansmeier files emergency appeal, claims non-copyright clients....
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, May 17 2013 @ 02:19 AM EDT
But, in typical fashion, fails to list ONE case filed in court....or name a
single
client. It's on the Morgan Pietz website, as a PDF.

Anyone else smell something there?

I suspect Hansmeier calling the sanctions criminal is extremely
risky...because it calls for a criminal prosecutor...and a change of venue,
since he has obviously angered Judge Wright.

There are other holes in his argument, too....either Gibbs was lying about
Hansmeier tellimg him what to do, or he knew he could expect to be
summoned, for being unadmitted counsel on the case.

At what point can the appeals court say "Falsus In Unum, Falsus In
Omnes" and deny the petition as ANOTHER fraud upon the court?

I see jail ahead....
