Was it a blunder on the part of a development team, or a direct challenge by Microsoft?

I can't imagine any development team could so naive as to ignore the terms of use. That leaves only a deliberate challenge by Microsoft, but what ever can they hope to gain? You gotta believe there is a motive behind this, and they are up to no good. I am waiting to hear the other shoe drop...

I am really fed up with Microsoft, and Apple too. Their tag team match against Google is transparent, and they want to do as much damage as they possibly can to Google and Android. They want to cripple Google search. Android and Google search are just two of my favourite products. It is no longer something abstract to me. These attacks are a personal affront. I think it is soon going to be time for demonstrations on the street.

No wonder Apple's innovations have come to a standstill, and Microsoft comes out with rubbish like the metro UI. These companies are so consumed with underhandedly attacking Google that they have lost their focus on technology.
