As stated, this would seem only slightly obnoxious. What really raises the bar
is the fact that the copyrighted material in question is porn. In other words,
they're apparently telling people, "We're going to contact your neighbors
and tell them, 'The following porn movies were illegally downloaded using X's
internet address. Since you're X's neighbor, we need to know whether you did
it.'". Recipients are then likely to pay up to avoid the embarrassment.
