Land Grab attempt?

I thought the complaint was that they tried to monopolize it despite the fact
that it was in prior use elsewhere and had been for over a century. The first
Apple Macintosh was introduced on January 24, 1984. My then employer used one.

...and as ridiculous as the design patents on rounded corners are, ...

Would you be surprised to know that Samsung has design patents for phones like the Galaxy S3, including rounded corners?
