Remember that most of the Skype code was written by people who were previously in the music piracy business. Previous worries from

I can confirm that MSoft is retrieving links in contained in skype messages; I
just tried it with a URL containing random garbage & 2 hours later the URL
was accessed from a MSoft IP address (65.52.100.214).

Does that constitute unauthorized access to a computer? Isn't that a criminal
offence in the US?
