A warning is a good idea
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, May 15 2013 @ 02:04 AM EDT
Yes, I agree, a warning, if you mean that the Newspick should contain
a warning, and the FT is the major offender I run against here.
I'm also getting an unable to find the server for the link in the body
of the Newspick, but I've posted some working (free) links near here
see: "Nope, try this"

Keep a second user for stuff like this
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, May 16 2013 @ 03:37 PM EDT
I keep a limited-privileged secondary userid on my Linux Laptop/Desktop for this
stuff. Just open a command prompt, su to the user, run 'firefox &', go to
the site(s) in question and close everyhing afterwards. It helps to wipe
cookies, destroy history, etc on closing firefox as well.
