If not from M$FT, would we hate it?

I tend to focus on arguments not numbers behind the argument.

Yeah I have read many of those reviews and I believe that most of the criticism
of the ugliness of the metro tiles or the drastic changes are just exaggerations
or splitting hairs. But then several other programmers I have talked to said I
am more of a power user and thus do not notice many of the changes. IE, in
windows 7 I would hit the flag button and type in the first letter or 2 of the
program I was looking for instead of using the mouse. Since I can still do that
in metro, as far as I am concerned the functionality is the same even if it
looks different. Same with getting out of mobile programs. I never forgot that
alt-F4 ( or several other options) exists so I never had an issue getting out of
a mobile program although I have read that as a issue with windows 8.

Since 95ish % of the tools I used in 7 still exist, I have trouble agreeing with
all the critical individuals.
