The Prenda saga reminds me of the movie
Soapdish. In
particular, Whoopi Goldberg's line, "Why can't I right <deleted> like
this." [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

If you read the actual motion, I don't believe popehat quoted the part I'm
referencing, there is an area in which prenda claims that the order by Judge
Wright could create precedent against law firms being able to use 'boiler plate'
filings for many things, such as uncontested divorces, driving up prices. Is
this an actual concern at all, in the sense of could the wording of the original
order possibly draw such a conclusion for future courts? Or is this just prenda
being... prenda. (Or some other alternative that isn't occuring to me right
now...)[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
