Bankruptcy Rules perhaps?
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, May 08 2013 @ 06:37 PM EDT

SCOg v IBM Court rules:

IBM is guilty of $5 owed to SCOg
SCOg is guilty of $50 Million owed to IBM
Bankruptcy Court Rules:
IBM owes SCOg $5 - pay up
Since bankruptcy stays any debt SCOg owes, the $50 Million debt is cancelled
With what we've seen in the bankruptcy court, I wouldn't at all be surprised if the above wasn't the concept behind the plan.

After 10 years, they still think IBM will settle
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, May 08 2013 @ 07:11 PM EDT
Only thing I can think of (well, that's me) is SCO thinks IBM doesn't want to
spend money litigating this. It was false 10 years ago, and it's false now. SCO
never learns.
