[PJ: Note that FinSpy works on Linux, MacOSX, and
Windows.]
From
the Report (PDF)
[W]e identified several apparent mobile Trojans
for the iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows
Mobile and Symbian
platforms.
The iOS version is signed with a registered Apple
Developer's Certificate. The Android version runs itself as
"Android Services",
and they disembowel the Symbian, Blackberry and WinMo versions exposing
developer
and domain registrations. And just when you thought it was safe to
sit down they list proxy servers being run
by Softcom in Canada, and iPower,
Verizon, and GPLHost in USA.
ISTR finding finfisher fragments in
both
Windows and MacOS machines around 2007. At the time we put it down to "normal"
malware, and did a
standard nuke and reimage.

We apologize for the large amount on online sources that have not
been peer-reviewed. In our belief these analyses
reflect the best currently
available information on cyberweapons.
