Really?!? Most of these patent trolls are little more than
smoke and mirrors set up by the M$s of the world so
they can claim plausible deniability that they are trying
to cut off the air supply of their competition or to shake-
down businesses who don't want to play with the M$s.
Most of the time these patents "sales" are nothing more
than a paper transfer -- money was not exchanged.
If those who are being shaken down were allowed to
not only SUE these patent trolls, but allowed to collect
monetary damages from them, OR... if they don't have
the money, were forced to give up the patent to the
businesses they sue. One of two things will happen:
1) The patent trolls will go out of business since they
will either go broke or they will run out of patents they
can sue over 2) It will force companies like M$ to come
out of the shadows, if they want to retain control over
these patents they "sold" to these trolls.
