AP Twitter account hacked, makes false claim of explosions at White House

Article link.

And the other obvious question:

Why is the US Prosecutors so focused on sending their security specialists to prison rather then protecting against these kinds of attacks?
Oh - right, I forgot. The security specialists are a major threat to patent/copyright holders. And we shouldn't forget about the Corporate embarrasment from having ones security implementation shown to be extremely weak.

Of course, both Twitter and Dow Jones now have a rather large embarassment factor.... but I doubt either one will take responsibility for it.

President Obama - Since your Government seems to be bent on sending to prison those who can help... perhaps you should consider sending all the police members to prison as well. It does make just as much sense.

Microsoft signs patent deal with...
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, April 24 2013 @ 10:35 AM EDT
Microsoft lawyer said "... we have always been prepared to respect the
rights of others ..."

Translation: We have plans to respect the rights of others at some indefinite
future date if we are forced to do so, by either purchasing the company for a
pittance after its value drops (for reasons we had nothing to do with, trust me)
or paying a tiny fine and promising to play nice after many years of litigation
during which we get to see all the secrets of our competition. --DonW
