Your patent fails
Authored by: cricketjeff on Monday, April 22 2013 @ 04:43 PM EDT
A Method of trapping a mouse, the method comprising:
luring the mouse into a trap zone;
detecting the presence of the mouse within the trap zone; and
activating a trap mechanism, thereby trapping the mouse.

The title is "A method for trapping a mouse" thus the problem to be
considered is that a mouse needs trapping, since your patent encompasses all
methods for trapping a mouse it must perforce be obvious to any man skilled in
the art. You cannot (no you are not supposed to be able to) specify a problem
and patent any solution to that problem you must specify non-obvious solutions
that improve the art.
