Sorry - I'd rather no patents exist and not be granted any patents on the
"ground breaking concepts" I come up with then to have a patent system that's
willing to grant a patent on anything and everything including:
A: That
which already existed - such as successfully patenting the wheel
B:
That which covers much more then a single implementation such as your generic
method of trapping a mouse
It's my humble opinion that Congress made a huge
error when they branched away from requiring a prototype... or perhaps the USPTO
made that decision themselves via the convincing arguments of Patent Lawyers
willing to patent math.
