When you can't
sell it locally, instead of simply dropping them in the local dumpster, why not
just ship them to somebody else who then puts them in their dumpster? And then
lets you then claim to the media that they are "shipped", as if somebody
actually uses them.
If the phones don't go into the dumpster on arrival
they most likely will after they are not sold, and out of date. That won't be
long based on some actual sales figures I have seen. Might as well ship them
directly to China for disassembly and reclaiming of the exotic metals and get
paid for them. They are probably worth more as scrap anyway, except perhaps in
the hands of a young hacker who might find an actual use for them, like for a
bluetooth robot controller or something creative.
