Time to go home PJ...
Authored by: PJ on Friday, April 19 2013 @ 02:42 PM EDT
You are forgetting the scope of what Groklaw
covers, also the limits of what I am qualified
to write about. I only write about what I
am trained to write about with some expertise.

If you wish to read about other things, you need
to leave and find it elsewhere.

But to me this is not trivial at all. Groklaw
cares about FOSS. It always has. And don't kid
yourself that these "trivial" battles aren't
about killing off FOSS.

Groklaw also cares about the legal system. It's
what we are about. And when I see the legal
system being played, it makes me sick. You
don't care, obviously, but that doesn't make
my response inauthentic. I may indeed know
more about it than you do, for example, so it
may be possible for me to follow the arc and
see the end result of such things. And you
will not like the end result.

The courage to fight the battles you can win, the and the wisdom to know the difference

Yes, we have a major gun problem. It has no easy answers -- deadly things are
easy to get ahold of and getting smaller, and some people are clearly
disconnected enough or evil enought to want to use them.

We also have a major problem with large corporations trying to do something very
underhanded with the law. PJ has made a difference there, and a very positive
one.

By increasing the fairness of our society, she actually makes a contribution to
the violence problem.

Incidentally, I think PJ *IS* at home here! (Hey! it's her site after all!!!)

P.J. makes excellent points already.

But about your specific claim regarding:

DOJ's inability to prosecute large banks
Might I humbly suggest you review (if you haven't already read them) the articles and news picks comments surrounding an individual by the name of Aaron Swartz.

Time to go home PJ...

If someone doesn't care for and look after the 'TRIFLES' the whole country will
fall apart. I think the lobbyists have entirely too much control, but the
country has to keep running.

Can you refute the fact that "if it's criminal to have a gun, then only
criminals will have guns? I don't own one, never have, but if things get that
bad, I want the right to go get one.

Personally I believe that the situations in Washington, and corporate structure
of the USA, is beginning to come close to what it was in France before its
revolution.

No one is forcing you to come here.

Why don't you just start your own award-winning blog that
mobilizes a huge community of (more or less) like minded
people who contribute time and energy to a cause they believe
to be important?

Yeah, just go and do that. Then you *might* have some
standing to question the relevance of Groklaw.
