Yes, I agree.

Whilst occasionally one suspects that Lucy Koh has been out of her depth,
allegations on the basis of her origin or qualifications for the role are
totally unfounded. Apple v Samsung is an extremely complex case with a lot at
stake for both parties, and the resulting maneuvering and legalities would tax
the abilities and patience of any judge.

I somehow feel that cases of this complexity require a panel of judges, although
given the fact that the US seems to be displaying incredible reluctance to
appoint judges at the moment, where one would find enough judges of the
appropriate ability is beyond me.
