Don't the lawyers for Apple make a percentage of the overall WON by them? So who is in a hurry?

We don't know what kind of fee arrangement Apple's lawyers have but in most of
these big corporate cases, the lawyers are paid for their work and don't share
in the winnings.

That would not affect the percentage, but rather the amount, as, for example,
100% of 0 is 0, whereas 10% of 100 is 10.

The longer the time the trial goes, the higher the billable hours.
On contingency, the longer the trial lasts, the lower the amount paid per hour
becomes.
As such, on contingency, the lawyers wants everything to happen in the first
hour.

This is also why it is more economical to get an experienced lawyer that charges
more, than an inexperienced lawyer. This is also why it is cheaper to retain a
lawyer with experience in the area of law that your issue is in, than somebody
who has no experience in that area.

Software is MATH.

Software should not be awarded patents.

There are those with "income" interests, who don't want that
to happen.
